Weekday Courses
Held on Mondays in The Upper Room (partial stair lift access) in The Guest House, next to Dorchester Abbey, South Oxon, these popular weekly classes run over ten-week terms.
Term dates for 2010
Morning class: 10 -12.30 @ £140 per term.
Afternoon class: 1.30 - 4 pm @ £140 per term.
Autumn Term : September Autumn Term: Sept. 20th, 27th, Oct. 4th, 11th, 18th,
(not 25th) Nov. 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th.
Based in ‘The Upper Room’ room each class begins with a painting demonstration and formal teaching, followed by one to one tuition. We work out of doors in the Cloister Garden when the weather is fine and sometimes in the splendid Abbey interior.
Suitable for beginners and experienced painters, the class size is limited to allow for good contact and visibility of demonstrations.
Please note that paying pro rata has previously proved impracticable and is regrettably not permitted. Missed classes may be made up by attending both sessions one Monday within the same term.
