Summer Schools
at Little Wittenham Nature Reserve, by Kind Permission of The Northmoor Trust.
Suitable for beginners and experienced painters, these structured classes begin each day with demonstration and formal tuition, followed by one to one teaching with your chosen subject. Tonality, colour, composition and perspective are covered along with the technical and practical aspects of mastering paint.
Dates for 2010: weeks commencing 12th & 19th July Working 10.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday.
week A 12th - 16th July, with Rebecca Hind. Concentrating on the softer aspects of landscape, such as sky, water and foliage.
week B 19th - 23rd July, with Rebecca Hind and Stuart Dawson. Dealing with all aspects of landscape including architecture.
The Nature Reserve is situated on the banks of the River Thames and encompasses meadow, woodland and the Wittenham Clumps - the tree topped Sinodun Hill Fort and Round Hill.
The class is based in a ground floor teaching room, in the beautiful Tower at the foot of Round Hill and next to the village church. All facilities are to hand but you will need to bring a packed lunch, and sturdy shoes.
£185 for the 5 day course, working Monday - Friday 10 - 5 pm.

Checklist
Doors open 15 minutes before sessions begin. Remember to complete payment for the summer school if you have paid a £30 deposit. For other courses, please pay in full to confirm your booking.
